Hilton London Metropole

PIMRC 2013 will be held in the 4-star Hilton London Metropole – one of Europe’s largest hotel and conference centres. Based in central London, the hotel is just a ten minute walk from Oxford Street, and is close to the transport links at Paddington Station for the Heathrow Express or the London Underground.

For delegates wishing to stay at the conference venue, the Hilton London Metropole will hold 200 rooms until 25 July 2013

Rates (including English breakfast)

Single room: 154GBP per night plus VAT (20%)
Double room: 174GBP per night plus VAT (20%)

Transport

Travelling from Heathrow Airport

The fastest and easiest way to reach the Hilton London Metropole from Heathrow Airport is via the Heathrow Express rail link. With trains departing every 15 minutes, the journey takes just 15 minutes from the airport to Paddington Station. The hotel is then only a five minute walk from the station or a very short taxi ride.

Alternatively a taxi from Heathrow Airport to the Hilton London Metropole will take approximately 40 minutes and will cost around £60.
 

Travelling from Gatwick Airport

If you are arriving at Gatwick airport, the Gatwick Express train will take you from the airport to London Victoria Station in 30 minutes. From Victoria Station take the London Underground Circle Line to Edgware Road Station or Paddington Station – both are a five minute walk from the hotel.

Alternatively a taxi from Gatwick Airport to the Hilton London Metropole will take approximately 1hour 10minutes and will cost around £100.
 

Travelling from London City Airport

To get to the Hilton London Metropole from London City Airport, take the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) from the airport to Canning Town station, followed by the London Underground Jubilee Line to Baker Street, and finally the Bakerloo line to either Edgware Road or Paddington Station – both are a five minute walk from the hotel. This journey will take approximately 40 minutes.

Travelling from King’s Cross St Pancras Station (Eurostar)

The Hilton London Metropole is very easily reached from King’s Cross St Pancras if you are travelling to London on the Eurostar. Simply take the London Underground Circle Line to either Edgware Road or Paddington Station (both are just a five minute walk from the hotel). This journey will take approximately 10 minutes.
