IEEE PIMRC'13 VISA INFORMATION


Please check the UK Border Agency website to decide if you need to obtain a visa before you travel to the UK. 

Visa Assistance Letters

King’s College London can provide visa assistance letters to the following individuals: Authors of technical or workshop papers, keynote speakers, tutorial and panel speakers, members of the IEEE PIMRC 2013 organising committee and IEEE PIMRC 2013 attendees who have paid their registration in full.
Visa assistance letters will only state the following:
  • Conference title
  • Conference dates
  • Conference location
  • Whether you are an author, speaker, committee member, or attendee
To receive a visa assistance letter please follow these instructions:

Authors of technical papers

  • Log into EDAS and find your paper;
  • Click on the envelope beside ‘visa letter’ in the properties column towards the bottom of the page;
  • Confirm or amend your address information;
  • The system will then generate the letter for your use;
  • Please use the help tab in the EDAS system if you have any problems.


All other speakers and attendees

  • Register for the conference and make your payment in full – you will asked to indicate whether you require a visa assistance letter.
  • We will aim to issue your letter as soon as possible but please allow up to two weeks for your request to be processed.
