IEEE PIMRC'13 CALL FOR TUTORIAL PROPOSALS


Tutorial proposals should be submitted via EDAS (under the “PIMRC'13 Tutorial Proposals” link), no later than May 6, 2013.
Each tutorial proposal must include:

  • The title of the tutorial.
  • The names, addresses, and short biographies (up to 200 words each) of the presenters of the tutorial.
  • A brief description (up to 1 page) of the topic that the tutorial will address, and the reasons why the topic is of interest at this time. Please also include a short discussion of related tutorials that have been given recently at key conferences and elsewhere.
  • A summary of the past experience of the tutors, particularly related to teaching/lecturing and work on the technical topics of the tutorial.
  • Detail on the likely range of attendees/interest it aims to attract, including academic/industrial and other sectors, and intended levels of expertise of attendees.
  • Information on the planned format of the tutorial, including strategies to invigorate enthusiasm among the attendees.
  • If applicable, a description of past versions of the tutorial that have been given, including information such as on the number of attendees.
  • A description of the publicity plan for the tutorial.
  • Information on the planned duration of the tutorial.
